At R&R Air Conditioning, we believe comfort begins with connection—and that starts with the people behind the name. Meet Jim Wells, the owner and general manager of R&R, and the guiding force behind our commitment to honest work, dependable service, and small-town values you can count on.

Jim stepped into leadership at R&R with a passion for delivering comfort with integrity in August 2024. While the tools and technology may be ever evolving, his focus has always remained the same: put the customer first, treat every home like it’s your own, and take pride in a job done right.

Jim brings 22 years of experience in the HVAC industry, along with a deep appreciation for the legacy of this family-owned business, which has been proudly serving Texas homes since 1995. Whether it’s troubleshooting a complex system or helping a young family find the most energy-efficient solution for their home, Jim leads with expertise and a heart for service.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Jim spending time with his wife and 3 daughters, on the local golf course, or watching the Home Team. His roots in Arlington, Texas, and love for the local community have made R&R more than just a business—it’s a part of the neighborhood. At the heart of it all, Jim isn’t just focused on growing R&R as a business—he’s dedicated to building something bigger. For him, it’s about creating a company that truly serves people, whether that means keeping a family cool on the hottest Texas summer day or giving back to the community that has given so much to him.

Jim believes that trust is earned through hard work, honesty, and consistency. His vision for R&R Air Conditioning is not only to continue the strong reputation the company has built over the years, but to raise the bar—by investing in his team, embracing new technology, and always putting customers first.

Jim’s philosophy is, “It’s not just about fixing an air conditioner or installing a heater—it’s about helping families feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own homes.” That mindset drives everything he does and is the foundation of how he plans to lead R&R into its next chapter of growth and success.
